We are pleased to offer Livery #11 from the Ferrari 70th Anniversary Collection, otherwise known as the “Heartthrob” livery. This unique 2017 Ferrari F12 Berlinetta was produced under the Ferrari Tailor Made program that celebrated Ferrari’s 70th anniversary in 2017 with a series of 70 special-edition liveries inspired by historically significant Ferraris.
This specific F12 pays tribute to an iconic classic model, a playboy-owned 1954 Ferrari 500 Mondial spider. The car was once owned by Dominican gentleman racing driver Porfirio Rubirosa. He drove the car in just a single international race at Santa Barbara in September of 1954. Sporting the number 235, the car finished eighth overall and second in its category. The livery received the name “Heartthrob” due to Rubirosa’s reputation with the ladies.
The F12 variant offered here was delivered new through Ferrari SLC and comes complete with all books and documentation from Ferrari Tailor Made. A truly stunning modern interpretation of the classic race car deserving of collector status.
Body:
Finished in Blu Elettrico paint with a red/white stripe accent along the lid lip and “235” in white on the side doors. It features power, heated, auto-dimming mirrors, a front lip spoiler, Scuderia Ferrari shields, and lower 70th Anniversary plates. The paint and trim are all in excellent condition. Paint protection film is installed on the front end including the fenders, hood, mirror caps, and headlights.
Trim & Glass:
The exterior trim is still in amazing condition showing no signs of wear. The F12 features black window trim, a black grille, and black lower skirt extensions.
Wheels & Brakes:
Sitting on a set of forged painted rims in 20×9.5 and 20×11.5, wrapped in Pirelli tires of 255.35.20 and 315/35/20. The red calipers pop against the blue exterior and flow well with the livery. It also has TPMS, massive carbon-ceramic brakes with ABS, and active cooling.
Interior:
The first thing you will note about the interior is the stunning Jeans Aunde Rosso finished Carbon Fiber racing seats and trim accents. Leather makes up the center console, headliner, parcel shelf, and steering wheel featuring an LED area. The boot also features leather carpet and a plaque notating the build list. There is a Tailor Made 70th Anniversary Dedication plate between the two seats notating the inspiration behind the livery.
Engine & Transmission:
While the styling cues may be retro, there’s nothing last century about this one-off F12. Ferrari aerodynamicists worked their magic on the F12’s gorgeous aluminum body, most notable in the “Air Bridges.” That aero wizardry comes into full play under the power of the F12’s 6.3L V12 engine, another masterpiece of Ferrari engineering that delivers a glorious 731 HP. Mated to a rear-mounted, paddle-shift, 7-speed, dual-clutch, F1 transmission, this magnificent power plant propels the F12 to 60mph in just 3.6 seconds on the way to a top speed exceeding 211 MPH.
Electrical:
This F12 includes an adaptive front light system, cruise control, electrical mirror with Homelink, white rev counter, satellite radio, parking camera, and a passenger display.
Suspension:
Ferrari chose to go with a multi-element aluminum chassis with a double-wishbone front and multilink rear suspension.
Paperwork & Pedigree:
Ferrari’s Tailor Made build book is included along with two keys, the window sticker, manuals, car cover, and car charger.
