THE VEHICLE OFFERED

This 1992 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 coupe is finished in Coral Red Metallic over beige and was sold new at Shelton Porsche in Naples, Florida. The car was relocated to Anchorage, Alaska in 2011 and then Washington in 2012, moved to California following the seller’s purchase in 2013, before making it’s move to Utah in December 2019. Modifications include 993 Turbo brakes up front, as well as Bilstein PSS10 coilovers, Rennline front camber plates, Elephant Racing suspension bushings, and adjustable sway bars. The naturally-aspirated 3.6L flat-six is equipped with a Steve Wong chip and a primary muffler bypass pipe, and power is routed to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle equipped with an optional limited-slip differential. The front reflectors have been replaced with a set of RS-style inlet ducts from TechArt. 17” Cute 1 wheels have been powder coated black and larger two-piece front brake rotors with 993 Turbo calipers are fitted up front with the rear 4-piston calipers refinished to match the “big red” up front. A larger 993 Carrera 2 master cylinder is utilized. Suspension upgrades include Bilstein PSS10 coilovers, Rennline adjustable front camber plates, RS-style sway bars and suspension bushings, and adjustable end links from Elephant Racing. The aluminum gas pedal and pedal board are from Rennline, and an RS short-shifter conversion has been added. The stereo system has been removed with a blanking plate mounted in place. The upper dash pad has been recovered, and a Rennline lower dash delete panel has been installed along with RS-style door panels. A MOMO steering wheel front the gauges showing just over 74k miles on the clock. The 3.6-liter M64 flat-six was resealed in 2011, and a service in October 2019 included a replacement distributor, inspection of plugs and wires, and a valve adjustment. In addition to the Cup-style bypass center muffler and Steve Wong chip, the engine utilizes a pair of firmer Rebel Racing mounts. This 964 C2 is now being offered with its window sticker, service records dating back to 2011, a clean Carfax report, and a clear Utah title.
